I finally finished my most recent bug project. The big beetle was grouted with dove grey, I used nutmeg grout for most of the background and a light vanilla color for the center ring area under the magnifying glass. I added rubber rings in various sizes to the surface. The piece is 16 x 20. I call it "Georgij's Russian Beetles".
